Born in Cesenatico (FC) in 2022 from a shapeless ball of rough wool soaked in the Adriatic Sea, The Weirdolls are an Italian band blending garage rock’n’roll with a sugary twist of power-pop-like melodic Stooges reimagined. The search for a vintage sound and a sense of irony, shaped through classic gear and amplification, flows throughout their debut LP Almost Unbreakable Toys (2023, Slack Records), released on vinyl via Wanda Records and positively reviewed by Claudio Sorge in Rumore magazine. The current lineup features Leo (lead vocals & guitar), Tez (guitar), Nico (bass), and Ace (drums), who joined the band in 2024, replacing founding drummer René.
